8:01 am – 7:00 pm
Zurich Agenda from Wednesday 16th (evening) to Friday 18th (evening). october
IMPORTANT: ALL the events COR + INFRAMES are located in the Forum Chiresbach (reception) see the FC in the map below.
INFRAMES: Theme complex systems: Environmental and Physiological
The meeting will occur in plenary. The theme builds on the challenges and methods surrounding doing experiments in systems such as mesocosms, pilot facilities, agricultural test fields, and organisms. Cross-cutting themes such as products introduced to these systems, life cycle assessment, biodegradability, data science tools and gaps, analytical challenges, guidelines for simplification, and science communication will run through these plenary sessions.
Sessions will be organized with several short (5 -10 minute) presentations, and possibly an external (to INFRAMES) stakeholder (e.g., industry, NGO…) who will serve as a sort of reviewer/discussant with a 30–40-minute period discussion for each session.
Wednesday EU/US CoRs meeting (https://www.nanosafetycluster.eu/cors-annual-workshop-2024/)
Session: Each session will be animated by a moderator that will present (with no slide) the session and the main challenge, the student play the central role and will do a presentation of 15 minutes with a strong emphasis of the context and challenges. Giving the context will allow all to have common background. Each student will discuss with their moderator to ensure no repetition of the context. After each presentation, the audience will ask questions to the panel with student expecting to engage and respond to their best knowledge with the help of the moderator.
Wednesday 16th Light evening Social gathering – cocktail type- restaurant suggestions will be provided
